Son of a kneecap!
Got back from our epic adventure last week and decided to buckle down at work, and pick up a triathlon to train for. You know, because I'm crazy, and I want rockstar legs again. Luckily the triathlon is a super sprint, so I didn't think it would be a problem. HAHAHAHA! On Tuesday I went for a run and thought I'd break my 1.5 mile normal goal and do 2, since that's the distance of the tri. And I did it. 2.4 miles, actually, but somewhere around mile 2 my knee started hurting and it hasn't stopped for the past 3 days. *sigh* Probably my shoes, since they're well over 2 years old, but I guess I'm going to just do bike and swimming for a week or 2. (I'm sure you really care about the intricacies of my training plan, right?) :)
This has been a good week. My business is going well - one property is officially in the home stretch to sale, and I've found an excellent GC candidate that I'm so freaking excited about. I'm phone interviewing a bunch of sales people today, and I bought another house which, aside from the moldy basement, is going to be a light rehab. On the GreenScale Tech front (Matt and Ryan's endeavor), they won a grant on Weds that, combined with another opportunity they secured earlier in the year, essentially means they get to build their thruster technology AND the cubesat it goes on AND PUT IT INTO SPACE at no cost to them. THAT'S HUGE! THINK OF THE DATA! Right now they're in Vermont blowing up their lab or something. The details are fuzzy. :)
