Day 4

I really almost didn't get out of bed today.  Ughhh.  But here I am, a little over an hour later, and I'm glad I did it.

These are my thoughts from today:

  1. While the alarm-time isn't my favorite, I've been going to bed feeling really accomplished.  Before I was going to bed feeling like there were more things I wanted to do in my day, but too tired to do any of them.  I still have a mountain of laundry, but doing TMM has alleviated some of the guilt/stress of "I should be learning/exercising/meditating more."
  2. I had a Spock-like moment of logic: If you are going to make getting in shape your number 1 priority, you have to do it first thing in the morning.  If you do other things first, then fitness is not your #1 priority.  (See?  That is logical!)  If that means getting up early because you've got an early work start, and you are doing it, GOOD JOB!  You don't need to tell me fitness is a priority; your actions speak loud and clear.
  3. I need to go to bed earlier, but seriously, that hour after my kids go to bed, it's quiet, and I'm feeling all accomplished is really a glorious time.  I can't give it up. :)
Now I need to go save my hubster from the raging children. :)
