Day 15
I'm trying to work on minimizing distractions by time-blocking (which is essentially single tasking for 2-3 hours). It's super hard. I used to do it at Noresco whenever I had some serious brain work going on. I'd shut off Outlook, chat, and my phone, and I'd buckle down. But the end result was usually very obvious - a working calculation, a report, a write-up. Here, my tasks are much more fluid, and they usually require internet which makes it super easy to stray. The electronic distractions entice me, and my wayward thoughts try to convince me to knock off other quick items. And that's all the deep thoughts I have today. :)
