House hunting

Matt and I began our foray into Florida real estate today.  The day started of with giddy excitement, had some promising moments (and some frightening ones too), and ended with a brain shutdown.  See, today we looked at all bank-owned properties in the $125-$150k price range.  And now we have to figure out if we want to buy that and put in another $30k-$50k of work (and then probably be able to sell at a slight profit), or just up our price range to find those that require less work.  Actually, 4 out of 5 houses that we saw needed only paint, A/C, and possibly a roof in the next few years.  But it's the possibility of mold/termites/sinkholes that is frightening when looking at bank-owned properties.  Which is what caused my brain to shut down :)  So now that the ladies are in bed, Matt and I are going to snuggle in for some Grey's Anatomy and an early bedtime.  And I skipped my first day of training (after 2 solid weeks.  Not a good sign.).  But I'm weaning Eve, my ta-tas hurt like a mother, and I couldn't bear the thought of trying to run.  So there.
