I have 2 blogs. This one, and a baby one, and sometimes it's hard for me to figure out where a post should go. But I've decided. This is the one where I get to keep it real. The other one is where I post the status of my babies and their stories. Sometimes, they slightly overlap, like this...
I hate potty training. Brynna has peed on the floor about 8 times in the past week. Which is actually quite good, considering that she makes it to the toilet about 85% of the time. But still, it's SUPER frustrating when she's standing 2 feet away from it and decides to pee. Or worse. But the actual point of this is a moment of "How did I get here?" This is the problem with us over educated, too smart to have kids until we're really really "Ready" and financially secure people. The ones who didn't settle down in their early twenties and pop a kid out within a year. We've got too much sense of identity. Seriously.
At least with age comes perspective. This is all just a phase. This is all just a phase. This is all just a phase. And it will be really sweet not having to change her diapers anymore.
On another front, I'm trying to decide which fake Christmas tree to buy, and which beach to take our Christmas letter pictures at. It's a whole new ballgame down here...
