Time sure flies

I don't know how so much time has passed since my last post...

Life has gotten pretty stressful over the past few weeks. I don't think I really acknowledged it until this weekend. Aside from being pregnant, Matt's company is most likely going out of business so he needs to find a new job, we weren't able to rent our house in VA for like 3 months so we decided to just sell it and take the loss (which is actually more stressful, but for a shorter period of time), and I've been told repeatedly in the past few weeks that I need to find a daycare ASAP as they all have 6 month to 1 year waiting lists. I'm currently "transitioning" into my new job at work, but my old boss refuses to come up with a gameplan for my old projects. And I know that isn't technically something I should be stressed about, but I am, because in the end it means my coworkers are going to get screwed, and I feel that reflects badly on me.

Now, this could just be the hormones kicking in and all that good stuff, but I think that anyone else with these things on their plate would feel overwhelmed. The GREAT news is that in 4 days I will be kicking back on a cruise ship with my sisters and forgetting all about this for 5 gloriously tropical days. "You boys like Mex-i-co? WOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

  1. Ha! Ha! You are going on a cruise and can't even have a fun fruity drink?! That would stress me out more than the other.

Seriously, you do have a lot on your plate, and even more hormones raging through your body right now. Try to stay calm. I feel your pain with the Hampton house. We were right where you are, and it was no fun at the time, but ended fine.

Sending prayers up for Matt to find a wonderful job quickly.

    Miss you!

  2. I'll be your nanny if you move to Oregon. :)
