Happy Christmas!

Peace on earth, goodwill to men....

Merry Christmas peeps! I know, it's been a LONGGGGGG time. I'm neglectful. And a touch of lazy. :)

December has been filled with lots of pre-Christmas madness - decorating, shopping, eating, running around the streets of Boston in a speedo (Shakes. Not me.) Got some good bowling in, had a fabulous night out on the town in honor of Femino's 25th bday (debaucherous pictures posted on my shutterfly site :))

and even remembered how to ski last weekend. Boy oh boy did my legs BURNNNNN! This Christmas I also managed to send out actual Christmas cards! Of course, I just mailed the last batch yesterday (slightly late), but hey! it's the thought that counts.

On a terribly sad note, last week we had to put one of our kitties to sleep. She was only 2 years old, and I'm still in shock. She had Feline Leukemia, and basically just stopped eating and then her lungs filled up with fluid. So so sad :( I don't think Trouble noticed at first, but now she's so lonely that she goes crazy when I come home from work, all purrs and paws. Poor kitties.

As for Christmas itself, Matt and I spent it out in Springfield with his family. It was a much more mature Christmas than I'm used to at the Fowler house, but still a good time. Very relaxing. For some reason I just didn't feel the whole spirit of the season this year. I didn't give or receive any off-the-charts amazing gifts, and the usual excitement was a little lacking. Meh. Guess you can't have fabulous every year. Could be that I didn't go to church much during the Advent season either.... poor baby Jesus. I neglected Him too.

Tonight we're heading down to PA to see my family and do gift exchange #2 of 3. Well, maybe this is #3 of 4... because Christmas night we opened the best gift to date - ROCKBAND!!! My dreams of being a kickass drummer live on...
