B-LO: Take 2

Before I get into the crazy wildness that was last weekend, first let me say - I'm really dissappointed that I haven't posted any pictures this year. It doesn't help that I wrecked my camera last month and haven't replaced it yet. That's 5 months! Geeez. I promise to remedy that soon. Check the link on the left in a few days. And on that note...
Naomi and I made it to the grand city of Buffalo last Friday, after many promises and one failed attempt. And it was splendid :)
Cati was beside herself with happiness that we *finally* made it. We started off the night with authentic Buffalo wings. *yummy* Then headed out around 9 for Chippewa Street and the bars. The first round of drinks I bought only cost $6. $6!!!!! 2 shots and 3 beers!!! AMAZING! Needless to say, when we finally could function enough to count the next day, the tally ran about 7 bars and 15 drinks each. Luckily, my liver loves me. And Cati and I rode a mechanical bull. Francis AWESOME! (I've decided to replace all swear words with peoples' names.)

Somewhere in there we met up with Chucker the F-er, at which point I gave him the evil eye but then promptly forgave him for all past faults when he handed me a drink. :) We managed to hit all the hot spots (and a few not so hot), and molested a few bronze buffalo statues to boot! I would guess that I was completely content when I passed out in the recliner at 4:30 a.m.

Saturday we went to see Beka lose $50 at the casino, followed by the much prettier site of Niagara falls. Even though we couldn't go over to Canadia without passports (not completely sure that's true), they were still a gorgeous site to behold. That night we went to the Sabres play-off hockey game (well, stood outside the arena with all the other crazy people) and saw the (unfortunate) loss back at Casa del Cati while partaking in a power not-quite-hour. Naomi and I snapped Cati out of her depression with some loud music and inappropriate videos (you SO need to watch Say Anything: Wow, I can get sexual too. It's my song of the minute.) And then we hauled her down to a new bar so that Naomi and I could get out dance on. Until 4 am. :) Sunday we went to church with the Knab family, bought some blatent Buffalo advertisements in the form of clothing, and then ended with dinner with the Knab family. All in all, and raging success. Can't wait till the next visit.
