i gots a jobby job!

yay go team! NORESCO offered me the position of "Energy Engineer" last Friday. The official proposal is being FEDEXed today. A short summary of the company and the position - the company does energy savings. They go into big companies and government facilities and they find ways to save millions of dollars in utility costs. I will be working with the overall project management team, taking the projects from customer inquiry through construction, and farming out specific tasks to the subject matter experts. Perfect!

The job is located in the heart of Boston at South Station. My hope is to take the T to work (and maybe even get them to subsidize it ;)) and live on the western edge of the city. That way if Matt finds a job outside the city, his commute will be not so bad.

They want me to start in 2 weeks, which I'm not sure is feasible. First I have to set up the movers and whatnot, and find a place to sublet in Boston. I hope that Matt finds a job relatively quickly so that I don't have to spend any more than a month away from him. Then we have to rent out our house (which I just put up on Craiglist today). So yea, busy busy busy. But enough about me --

CONGRATS TO RYAN AND CATHE who will hopefully be welcoming the newest McDevitt sometime next June :)
